Empowering Youth. Strengthening Communities. Making a Difference.

About Us

The Hub of Respect Inc (THOR) is a Not-For-Profit initiative located in Alice Springs, Central Australia. THOR is an arm of the local business G Training that promotes health and wellbeing through physical activities. THOR was developed by a group of professionals with numerous years of experience and expertise within the youth and community sector. The group has identified that there are significant gaps in the current youth service sector in Alice Springs. The vision of THOR is to address this gap in service through creating a locally based holistic and preventative program that supports at-risk and disengaged young people in the community.

our program

Our flagship initiative, the MAD Program, is an 8-week evidence-based youth mentoring and movement program. It combines boxing and strength training with trauma-informed mentoring sessions to promote emotional regulation, leadership, and positive peer relationships. The program is delivered in partnership with local schools, youth justice, and Aboriginal organisations.

Key Outcomes:

Improved school attendance and engagement

Reduction in violent or antisocial behaviour

Increased resilience, self-awareness, and leadership

Stronger connection to family, culture, and community
